  • Technology & Software Engineering: Cloud control-plane work, ML for behavior planning, and rail/station device software led demand. Tokyo dominated; Kanagawa active for embedded/edge. Typical mid–senior IC offers in Tokyo remain around ¥9M–¥16M (est.).

  • Finance & Accounting: Corporate/HQ accounting and senior accountant roles were most common, alongside a cross-border finance program lead. Bands ranged ¥2.6M–¥10.0M where posted; directional estimates put senior accountant ~¥6.5M–¥9.0M and finance program lead ~¥10.0M–¥15.0M.

  • Marketing: AI/search-driven roles, EC promotions/events, and hybrid marketing–inside sales hiring remained steady. Posted ranges clustered near ¥5.0M–¥9.0M; brand-side associate/designer estimated at ¥6.0M–¥9.0M.

  • Gaming: Platform support (PlayStation), engine product specialists (Unity), and gameplay/graphics engineering were in focus, plus a 2027 new-grad info session. Tokyo concentrated; mid-career estimates commonly ¥7.0M–¥12.0M, new-grad starts ~¥4.0M–¥5.0M.

  • Hospitality & Tourism: Luxury front office (Kyoto), Tokyo all-day dining leadership, and Nagano resort guest services drove activity. Directional pay: guest services/front office ~¥3.0M–¥4.5M; assistant restaurant manager and guest services manager ~¥5.0M–¥7.5M.

Outlook: Expect continued hiring in platform/ML and embedded systems, resilient demand for data-driven marketers and event operators, steady need for accountants who can tighten close/controls, and stable hospitality staffing as inbound travel stays strong into winter resort season.
